Ramshackle Ridge Roll-Off Roof Observatory Time-Lapse
Time-lapse overview of the construction and initial operation of a roll-off observatory for astrophotography and astronomical research. Completed in less than two weeks between December 2020 –> January 2021. Constructed for a small automated refractor telescope and computer system.
Assembling A Modest Astrophotography Setup
This is a visual overview of the setup / attachment process for a William Optics Zenithstar 81 refractor telescope. It’s a relatively modest setup, but should give you a peek into the process of setting up a filter wheel, wiring everything up, and working towards correct back-focus.
